This site looks ahead to the coming year and will help you get massive discounts on the latest clothes, bags and shoes.
Hi, my name is Sophie Farringdon. Like you, I'm nuts about fashion and, until recently, I used to shell-out pretty much all that was left out of my monthly pay-check, on the latest must-have item, be that a bag, a pair of shoes, or a dress.
I used to spend the first Saturday, after pay-day, wandering through my local mall and paying full retail prices for anything I saw that I felt I just had to have.
Then, in 2009, I lost my well-paid government job, because of the cuts. I was quite lucky, as I found a job in a local beauty-salon, within a few weeks. Sadly, it doesn't pay anywhere near what my old job did and I don't have much cash to spend each month now, when all my bills are paid.
When it first dawned on me that I would no longer be able to buy the things I wanted, for me or my daughter, it was like losing a limb! We both live for fashion and love to shop.
I was moaning to a friend, about how poor I now was, and she laughed when I said I had been buying from the high-street. She told me about various places online, where I could still buy the hottest new lines, at a fraction of what I was paying before.
I soon found I was able to keep buying the items I wanted, without going over budget. I decided to build this site, because there must be other people like me out there.
I've called the site Fashion2013, because I have such big plans for it and not much free time. I think it will be the end of the year, before I get all the work done! If the site is successful, maybe I'll register Fashion2014 and do it all over again?! However, there is plenty of information, on how to get great deals, already on the site.

Through our extensive network of contacts from design-houses, textile buyers, cutting-edge retailers, we are already able to predict what you will be wearing in 2013. This is not idle speculation. This is fact. Fashion 2013 isn't something that the industry decides to think about 6 months before it happens...
...There are between ten and fifteen people who decide what people will wear, every year, and they are always at least 2 years ahead of the game. There is simply too much money at stake, not to plan things that far in advance. If you don't know who those people are, then don't worry, because you never will!
Fashion 2013 can be summed up quite simply. There will be modern twists and variations but to all intents and purposes, the early 1990s are back and in a big way! If you are less than about 26 years of age, you will have no recollection of that period. They style was perhaps not as iconic as the superfly look of the 70s, or the power-crazed style of the 1980s. To the trendsetters of the early 1990s, it felt like their statement was anti-fashion. They believed that they were entering a period where anything went. Looking back, we can now see that the look of the period was as distinctive as any other.
It always takes a couple of decades to fully depart from a certain look. Now we can see the early 1990s calearly in terms of a fashion milestone and 2013 will be celebrating that.
So, what can we expect? Well, watch out for that cross-wind, because baggy is back! Waist-bands will be higher and hems relatively narrow. Shirts will be huge again (well at least we can forget arm-pit stains for a while!) and enormous plain heavy-knit sweaters will be worn in the fall and winter, generally with a very wide round-neck.
Loafers will be huge in 2013 and well will see the return of the Funky Dread! Many will be sporting long dreads on the top of their scalp with a shaved back and sides. Girls will even take the plunge and go for this extreme style. Even more noticeable will be the sheer number of Asian guys who get the look, something unthinkable 20 years ago. If you have short cropped hair, then start growing it now as dreadlocks halve the length of it....
...Think Nirvana meets New Jack Swing and you will get an idea of where this thing is going. In many ways it was inevitable. Ten years ago the 80s were huge again. Around 20 years ago, dance bands like S-Express were brave enough to bring back the 70s. In each case, most people were initially uncomfortable with it. Within months though, it became half-acceptable and then uber-cool. This is what will happen with the early 1990s look, in 2013.
Go for it and be bold! Leather African medallions? Yeah, but why wear just one?! Bright-red hiking boots, like those originally made by Fila? Red hot! Dress-up in waist-coats worn with a pocket-watch (or even a medal) and patent shoes that shine like diamonds, under trousers with pleats!
Come out from behind the sofa, because this is Fashion 2013 reality. You won't be able to escape this, so just embrace it and remember that these things never last for more than a year or so!
